The next scheduled PSN maintenance will take place on Wednesday, May 9th, Sony has announced. The maintenance will last eight hours from 4pm GMT (6pm SAST) to midnight.

The following services will be inaccessible during the maintenance window:

• PlayStation Home
• PlayStation Store on PS3, PSP and PS Vita
• PlayStation Network Account Management
• PlayStation Network Account Registration

If you want to play online during the downtime you’ll need to sign into PSN before 4pm GMT on May 9th.

Unfortunately this upcoming PSN maintenance coincides with the next European PlayStation Store update, meaning that some of the titles that are scheduled to release that day (such as Datura) will most likely be unobtainable until May 10th.
