[Update] Added new, reportedly official (until proven otherwise) key art showing a Black Ops 2 logo and release date. [End of Update]
Will this year’s edition of Call of Duty be a direct follow-up to 2010’s Call of Duty: Black Ops? Will we see Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 on store shelves later this year?
According to a report on IGN, as well as images of pre-order cards at US retailer Target, we may just have the answer… and a solid release date for the game.
Target will be offering pre-order cards for a game the store believes to be named Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 (or II), with a release date set for November 13th.
While the card does specify that the release date is subject to change, that’s a very specific day to mention. It also falls on a Tuesday – the traditional (and US) launch date for the Call of Duty series.

Here they are:
All will be revealed on May 1st, this coming Tuesday, with more details expected to follow on May 2nd.
[Update]
Talented (and even semi-talented) artists are very capable of mocking up an image like this, but current Black Ops 2 rumour mills are calling this official.
