If you’re serious about gaming headsets then you’ll probably have heard about Turtle Beach – one of the premier peripheral brands in the PC and console market. Turtle Beach’s ‘Ear Force’ range is particularly sought after, with the Ear Force X41 wireless headset winning Official Xbox Magazine’s award for ‘2009 Peripheral of the Year’.

The good news is that Turtle Beach’s gaming headsets will be launching in South Africa next month thanks to a partnership between Pure Distribution and QV Software.

Two of the products you can look forward to from mid-May are the Ear Force XP300 and XP400 premium wireless gaming headsets, compatible with both Xbox 360 and PS3. Here’s the official description for these impressive peripherals:

“The new XP400 and XP300 headsets bring the wireless Bluetooth chat of the acclaimed XP500 headset to a more affordable price point, whilst adding the ease of rechargeable batteries and new 5GHz dual-band Wi-Fi RF wireless technology that virtually eliminates interference with wireless networks in the home.”
