So (at least one part of) the rumours were true… so far!
According to the official Call of Duty site, Activision Publishing will be making a ‘World Reveal’ of the next Call of Duty game at the beginning of next month, during the May 1st basketball playoffs shown on US television (TNT, to be precise).
The website hosts a countdown clock ticking away to the reveal, widely believed to be the announcement of Call of Duty: Black Ops 2, while the page is also littered with classified windows of information, each of which have unique unlock dates to let us know when to check back for more details.
What’s interesting is that some of the information unlock dates point to April reveals, too, so we’ll start getting peeks at some secrets starting this week.
But what is this mysterious image? And why does the background image look a lot like that used during the promotion of Call of Duty: Black Ops in 2010 (and exactly the same as that promotional poster that was making the rounds last week)?
All will be revealed soon – we can’t wait!
