Scheduled PlayStation Network maintenance hits Europe today, tooWritten by: / / No Comments
Following the announcement that the US PlayStation Network would be receiving some downtime today due to a period of scheduled maintenance, it’s just been announced that the European PlayStation Network will also be inoperative starting today.
According to a post on the PlayStation Blog, PSN in Europe will undergo maintenance starting Monday, 16th April, from 14:00 BST, and will last until 02:00 BST on Tuesday, 17th April.
During the maintenance period, the following services will be inaccessible:
- PlayStation Store on PS3 and PSP.
- PlayStation Network Account Management.
- PlayStation Network Account Registration.
Here’s a note from the PlayStation Blog:
“In addition, you will not be able to sign in to PlayStation Network from eu.playstation.com. If you wish to play online during the maintenance, then you may be able to do so if you sign in to PSN before 14:00 on Monday 16 April 2012.
“During this maintenance, you can continue to collect in-game trophies and these will be updated on your profile once PlayStation Network is back up and running.”
At least it’s not a Thursday, eh?
