Assassin’s Creed III is the first numbered entry in the series since 2009 and there’s a very good reason for this. The game has been in production ever since Assassin’s Creed II was released two and a half years ago and is being developed by some of Ubisoft’s most experienced and talented staff – many of whom were instrumental in ACII’s critical success. It’s therefore logical to assume that ACIII will be one of the most impressive Assassin’s Creed games in years and could very well be a contender for Game of the Year.

Assassin’s Creed III will be released across Xbox 360, PS3 and PC on October 30th in the US and a day later in European territories. A Wii U version is also in the works and should get a firm release date once we know when the console will launch.
