The PS Vita title Silent Hill: Book of Memories was supposed to launch tomorrow in the US and on Thursday in European territories. This would have made it the third Silent Hill game released in March, with the other two titles being Silent Hill: Downpour and the Silent Hill HD Collection.
Unfortunately unknown factors have led to Book of Memories being delayed until the second quarter. A Konami representative said a formal announcement regarding the delay and possibly a new release date will be made in the near future.
Some retailers such as Amazon and Gamefly have given the title a tentative release date of May 31st but it’s impossible to draw any conclusions from this until Konami locks down a new time frame for the game’s release.
Silent Hill: Book of Memories is being developed by WayForward Technologies and is a top-down action game that supports cooperative online play. Head over here for our previous coverage of this intriguing PS Vita title.
