Meet the voices behind Lollipop Chainsaw’s stellar castWritten by: / / No Comments
Quality voice acting can greatly enhance one’s enjoyment of a game and make particular lines from a script far more memorable than they would have been if they were simply represented as text.
Lollipop Chainsaw’s mature brand of humour may not be for the faint of heart but the game’s dialogue is certainly going to make a sizeable impact on audiences thanks to some top voice actors lending their talents to the project. Tara Strong (Harley Quinn in Batman: Arkham City) voices the game’s pigtailed protagonist while Michael Rosenbaum (Lex Luthor in Smallville) plays her bodyless boyfriend.
Take a look at the cast performing their craft in the trailer below (warning: contains very strong language):
Having played many of the games Tara Strong has been involved with, I’ve got to say I’m mightily impressed with her range. From Paz in Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker to Rikku in Final Fantasy X / X-2, this actress certainly knows how to change up her voice to get just the right fit for her character.
Lollipop Chainsaw will be released for PS3 and Xbox 360 on June 12th in the US and June 15th in European territories. Feel free to browse through El33tonline’s previous coverage of this audacious action game.
