Reminder: Planned PSN maintenance this week, network going offlineWritten by: / / No Comments
We may have brought you news last week that the PlayStation Network was to undergo a period of planned maintenance on Thursday, March 1st, but we’re here again to remind you of this network inactivity while confirming that the US PSN will also be affected.
As far as the European PlayStation Network is concerned, the maintenance will begin on Thursday, March 1st, just after 16:00 GMT and end at approximately 06:00 GMT on Friday, March 2nd.
The US PlayStation Network maintenance will likewise take place on March 1st and start at 08:00 Pacific, before ending at approximately 22:00 Pacific.
“Unlike typical maintenance events,” writes the PlayStation Blogs, “consumers who are already signed-in to PSN will be signed-out, and consumers will be unable to sign in for the duration of the maintenance window. During this time, users won’t be able to access the PlayStation Store, PlayStation Home, Account Management or play online.”
Similarly, PSN-enabled websites will not be available during the maintenance period.
“We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause,” the posts on the PlayStation Blogs conclude.
