Tomb Raider is doing it. SSX is doing it. Even Syndicate and Devil May Cry are doing it. Let’s do it. Let’s reboot a gaming franchise.

El33t’s Question of the Day is:

What game franchise do you think is most in need of a reboot?

Maybe it’s because we spent a good portion of Sunday evening playing Syndicate’s (awesome) co-operative multiplayer, where cries of “I need a reboot” were shrill and often, but we got to thinking about this and other games in the recent years that have strived to distance themselves from their forebears and strike off on their own to forge new ground for their respective franchise.

Syndicate is a game that we think has successfully ‘rebooted’ the franchise, while Tomb Raider, Devil May Cry (DmC), SSX and others are expected to re-invigorate their fanbases later this year.

What other game franchises need a reboot?
