Angry Birds catapults into Space soon, Rovio teases March launchWritten by: / / No Comments
Is there really space on this Earth for more Angry Birds? Haven’t we reached a saturation point yet with multiple versions of the fowl-flinging game already available across mobile platforms, PC and Facebook?
It seems not, because developer Rovio has announced plans (or more accurately, is teasing plans) to bring another incarnation of the addictive puzzle game to the world in the form of Angry Birds: Space.
Angry Birds: Space is said to be more than a mere expansion pack to previous Angry Birds games as was the case with the holiday and movie-themed titles. Instead, Space will be an entirely new game, providing new gameplay elements and hopefully taking advantage of its new theme (like using zero-g environments and the random passing of asteroids and comets, for example).
Angry Birds: Space has been teased for a March 22nd release on mobile platforms, but we’ll be looking out for more concrete information soon.
