The Durban heat is more draining than usual today so this introduction is going to be cut real short, everybody…

… but not before we invite you to let us know what you’re going to be keeping busy with this weekend. If you’re playing a game, seeing a movie or catching up on some reading (or sleep, even), tell us what you thought of your chosen activities on Monday morning, too.

Before this keyboard hosts a collapsed body, however, let’s take a look at what members of El33tonline will be up to over the next few days:

Tom

“This weekend I’ll be writing up my review for Resident Evil: Revelations before indulging in a bit of Max Payne 2 and Final Fantasy XIII-2 (provided the courier gods deem El33tonline worthy).

There are tons of games (Catherine, Grand Slam Tennis 2, Gravity Rush etc.) and one very special handheld coming out over the next few weeks so I’ll probably take it easy games-wise this weekend, safe in the knowledge that my eyeballs will be crying for mercy before the month is done.

Enjoy the break p33ps!”

“Well, since finishing Fable 3, I’ve had a hankering for some good ol’ fashioned RPG questing and looting and I’ll be trying to get my fix with Dungeon Siege 3. Hopefully I’ll be able to try out the local co-op as well.”

“It’s Fabulous February and we start off with Fantastic February Friday. I’m lucky enough to not have ‘too much’ on my plate besides a bit of gym, babysitting, nappy changing, and a braai with some friends I haven’t seen in a long time. Oh, and if all goes well I’m hopefully going to watch a repeat of the 2006 Fifa World Cup, only in Six Nations rugby format instead.

In between all of this revelry there must be some time made for tank-busting with Oltman in BF3 and a little bit more time in Rapture (BioShock).”

“Every once in a while a weekend arrives totally out of the blue and unexpected. It normally is a nice surprise. When you dont expect the weekend to arrive you have to wonder why. In this case its because I had fun and we all know time flies when you are having fun.

With some crazy excellent Battlefield 3 fun this past week with my best co-op buddy in the world ever (Bryan) we managed to increase our K:D ratio and also gain quite a few levels. This coming weekend i plan to fully extend that ratio and also add more tags to my collection. I have given up on stealing POItjie’s tags as he is too scared to play against me. Bro October has graciously offered me his tags if I were to meet him in a dark corner of the map… alone… with no buddies… and no guns. Sounds fishy to me! But worth a try!

Other than that I will probably try some online GRAW2 with Russell who only recently discovered the beauty of XBOX Live. He might be a noob at Live, but he is no noob at GRAW!

See you guys online!”

“Kids stuff as usual. Fifa Manager 12 ‒ a usual (go Crystal Palace!!!)

GRAW Online with Oltman (if he is still talking to me after I said L4D got a bit boring). Hopefully take my kids riding on the beach on Sunday morning.”

Everyday I’m shuffling

I can’t for the life of me remember what I’ve accomplished this week. I know I was very busy. I know I’ve got ‘stuff’ done. There was a day of severe illness in the middle there somewhere, that I remember.

The best thing for it would be to look over the massive amount of content that’s gone up on El33tonline this week to piece my week together, and then forget it all over again by relaxing with some Battlefield 3 online and perhaps visiting some friends this weekend. Let’s see how it goes.

A bunch of demos and betas are also available to play, and I’d like to test them out some more before they go offline, so that will have to happen over the next couple days. Twisted Metal, Starhawk and Syndicate are looking especially tasty!

See you all again soon!”

“Ed has managed to secure some top secret debug code for some awesome games coming your way soon so I’ll be giving those a run through this weekend. As a filler game I’ll be trying another couple of rounds of the addictive 4 player co-op Syndicate and hopefully if doesn’t crash as often :(

Enjoy your weekend and see you online.”

“This weekend I’m super excited to be fitting in some movie-going and some gaming, it’s not often a busy Ed like me gets to do both you see. For my movie-going pleasure I will be enjoying the latest addition to the Underworld series: guns, zombies and plenty of action ‒ all in 3D ‒ what more could a girl ask for? Popcorn!

I’ve become slightly more addicted to online gaming over the past few months, and luckily for me I have more than enough awesome games to keep me busy. I’m looking forward to diving back into the co-op adventuring of Syndicate, cracking some skulls in Gears of War 3 and joining the fray with the El33t_P33p Squadron in Battlefield 3.

Now before you go and start thinking I’m all hardcore, I’d like to point out that there’s also a softer side to me, so I’ll be testing out my IQ in the new Xbox LIVE Arcade game Quarrel. Of course if my PS3 behaves itself this weekend, I’d also like to spend some time with Nathan Drake in Uncharted 3, but let’s just see how that goes shall we?

Lastly, I will be testing out a few secret titles that have not been released yet. I am super excited to get this opportunity and can’t wait to share my previews of these games with you.

Until then though, zzzzzzzzzzziiiippp!”
