On this day in 1879, the important Battle of Rorke’s Drift came to an end during the Anglo-Zulu War. Also on this day, but in 1855, the American inventor John Browning was born, while South African cricketer Alf Hall was brought into the world in 1896 and UFC fighter and champion Tito Ortiz, too, was born in 1975.

It’s Jason Bridges (also known as Die Jason on El33tonline and elsewhere), who happens to be celebrating his birthday today, January 23rd!
