I don’t know about you, but I’m literally counting down the days until the PS Vita is released on our shores on February 22nd. The appeal of owning the most powerful handheld gaming device in the world and regularly feasting my eyes on the PSV’s stunning 5-inch OLED display is definitely not lost on me.

Those of you who pick up a PS Vita can also look forward to receiving six AR Play Cards with your purchase. These cards act as markers for the various Augmented Reality games which will be available on the PlayStation Store; three of which are yours for free thanks to a voucher code residing alongside all the other goodies in your PSV’s box. The three games are Table Football, Cliff Diving and Fireworks.

In other PS Vita news, the RRP for the first wave of games, hardware and peripherals has been finalised for South Africa. These are the prices you can expect to see at a physical retailer like BT Games, although some online outlets like Kalahari are currently offering the PS Vita launch titles for substantially lower than the RRP.
