It’s time to chart out this year’s gaming calendar to make sure we’re ready for the gaming goodness to come, but let’s start at the very beginning and take a look at some of the top releases of January 2012, across all platforms.
January’s list of games is a little thin to begin with, but there’s still some quality to be found with a competitive online shooter from Monolith, as well as a couple 3DS games and a few downloadable titles.
Then, right at the end of the month, there’s a small deluge with releases overflowing from the US into the beginning of February in other territories.

- Silent Hill HD Collection (January 24th in the US – PS3)
- The Sims 3: Master Suite Stuff (PC, Mac)
Week of January 30th:
- Final Fantasy XIII-2 (January 31st in the US ‒ PS3, Xbox 360)
- NeverDead (January 31st in the US ‒ PS3, Xbox 360)
- Soul Calibur V (January 31st in the US ‒ PS3, Xbox 360)
