Internet search (and research) monolith Google has released an interactive report on what it calls the most sought after information on the ‘net in 2011, with top ten lists of searches split up into catagories including ‘Entertainment,’ ‘Sports’ and ‘People,’ amongst others.
In the ‘Global’ fastest rising top ten search report, and ahead of things like iPad 2 and people like Steve Jobs and Adele, gamers will be pleased to find one of their favourite games of 2011 included in the mix: Battlefield 3.
Publisher EA managed to do a sterling job in creating awareness for its latest shooter and increase the ‘Zeitgeist’ that rapidly formed around Battlefield 3 this year – a notion that’s backed up by the game’s inclusion in Google’s search report. Here’s the full list:
