As you’ll soon see in this Syndicate video showcasing eight minutes of intense four-player co-operative action, friends help friends attack and annihilate enemies while on a mission to extract an important computer chip from the neck of a supersoldier – even if that help entails snapping necks, shooting people in the face, healing one another and jumping and sliding about the place like an acrobat.

It’s just what friends do.

The four-player co-operative mode in EA and Starbreeze Studios’ upcoming first-person shooter might be separate from the main game, but it’s described as “deep” and includes missions inspired by the original isometric tactical action game from the 90s – it’s not yet known if this mode is ‘fun’ or ‘immersive,’ but we’ll let you know when we find out.
