El33t’s Pre-W33kend Post: Use your GoldenEye to Move Uncharted and Forza over the SkyrimWritten by: / / No Comments
Wondering about that header? It’s been one of those weeks, everybody, so it’s best not to try and make any sense of it.
We closed lots of competitions this week and awarded a bunch of deserving p33ps with prizes, we opened a few more competitions, posted up some great reviews and pasted tons of great game news on the site – all of which is quite tiring, so if you’ll excuse us, we’re off to enjoy our weekend now…
… but not before cooking up more exciting stuff for you to see on El33tonline in the coming weeks, and also not after letting you know what we’ll be busy with over the next two days:
“Let’s see: I definitely won’t be sitting around watching test cricket. I may be sitting around playing Tetris in 3D. Or perhaps I will be waving my arms around playing Go Vacation. And when my arms tire I might try get a further 0.5% through Forza Motorsport 4 (a feat which can take up to 5 hours).
The only thing I can be sure of is that I will be sleeping and I will be eating and I will be drinking.”
“This weekend I’m going to be busy with GoldenEye: 007 and will also be enjoying a couple of new Move titles. I’m also hoping to dabble in some more Uncharted 3 multiplayer, and possibly even some more Just Dance 3.
It will be a busy weekend gaming, reviewing and planning for more cool competitions (and other secret stuff) for you guys and gals, so make sure you check back next week. Have a great weekend everybody!”
“If you havin’ router problems, I feel bad for you son, I got 99 problems but a modem ain’t one!
I learned an important lesson this week about leaving my router connected while a storm cracks the sky outside, so from now on, when lighting starts to strike, that device is getting unplugged quick-smart!
Now that that’s all sorted, I plan on getting to grips with Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 and jumping into Uncharted 3 after a week of saying that I would treat myself to the campaign. Multiplayer and co-op is also on the cards, which if Uncharted 2 is any indication, will be great fun.
I’m also going to give PixelJunk SideScroller a go and try to relive some ancient shooter memories in the process. Have a blast p33ps.”
“After spending hours of quality time with Dark Souls, Batman: Arkham City and Uncharted 3 over the past few weeks, I’ve finally reached a point where I don’t have all that much to play. All is not lost however, as I’m using the time to catch up on some movie-watching – that incredibly lazy, non-interactive pastime which, unlike gaming, allows you to dig into a bag of chips without having to worry about the ‘greasy controller’ repercussions.
There was going to be some cricket to watch this weekend, but Australia’s dismal batting performance and centuries from Amla and Smith deprived us of that golden opportunity. Oh well – I’m not complaining…
Have fun p33ps!”
“The mysterious 11/11/11 11:11:11 has come and gone and lasted but a fleeting second. Kind of feels like the rest of my life, actually. I’ll go for round two tonight and see if that makes any difference to the alignment of the sun, moon, stars, and good old planet Earth.
After tonight’s stellar investigations, the rest of the weekend is a busy one for me – I’ve got a sign language course on Saturday and then some R&R in the evening to recover from the intensity of learning to do sign language with one hand (do they call that ‘short hand’?).
As Hugh Grant once famously said, every man is an island, and on Sunday I hope to sail to my Ibiza and indulge in my very own zombie-slaying on the infamous Dead Island. Never one to go solo, I am looking forward to some exciting co-op with a trusty buddy to stem the hordes of undead surfers and maybe, just maybe, fit in a few rounds of co-op Uncharted 3 with Oltman, but only if he gets a decent TV to play it on ;)”
“The weekend could not come at a better time! It is almost as if it was sent! And this weekend I plan to play a LOT of Uncharted 3. I am impressed by what I have played so far, but the highlight of the series still has to be Uncharted 2. I think I should wait until the end before I make such claims!
The postman should have paid Lisa a visit by now which means I will also be getting lost in Skyrim. Literally. The game looks huge! If you don’t hear from me by Monday, send out a search party.”
What are you going to be up to this weekend, everybody?
