Anyone desperately looking forward to playing id Software’s RAGE in mid-September is now going to have to look a little further, as the developer’s jaw-dropping first-person shooter has been delayed into October.
The news arrives on the back of a date change on RAGE’s official website, which now lists an October 4th (North America) and October 7th (Europe and the UK) release.
RAGE was originally meant to launch on Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and PC on September 13th (North America) and September 16th (Europe and the UK).
Well, I guess it is id Software (“It’s done when it’s done,” et al), and even an acquisition by Zenimax has done nothing to change the studio’s old ways (RAGE has been in development for roughly seven years, in case you were wondering).
Until October, you can keep looking through El33tonline’s exhaustive coverage of RAGE for tons of screenshots, gameplay videos and extra information.
