E3 2011: Kirby: Mass Attack coming to the US this SeptemberWritten by: / / No Comments
Great news for Kirby fans, not only can you look forward to Kirby Wii before the end of the year, but you can also enjoy Kirby: Mass Attack on the Nintendo DS this September.
That’s right folks, Kirby: Mass Attack will be available across the US on the 19th of September for $29.99.
This side-scrolling real-time strategy game promises to deliver a “new twist on a pink hero.” After Kirby is split into 10 pieces by the holder of a magical cane, he sets out on a journey to return to his original form.
Players will use the stylus on the touch screen to control a swarm of up to 10 Kirby characters at once to defeat enemies and find treasure. The number of Kirby characters under your control is important as certain challenges require specific numbers of Kirbys to be solved, with players gaining an advantage when the number of Kirbys is increased.
Each Kirby character can be controlled in a variety of ways, for example you can launch Kirby into the air by flicking the stylus, make the swarm of Kirbys dash by tapping on a specified spot multiple times, or swipe the screen to launch them in a mass attack against enemies and then tap the enemies into submission. Players will also be able to unlock additional mini-games by collecting hidden medals throughout the stages.
No news from Nintendo of Europe yet about whether Kirby: Mass Attack will be available in PAL regions.
