Sony has announced that over one million PlayStation minis have now been downloaded worldwide. Quite a significant milestone considering that these are the publisher’s smallest downloadable games and that the minis line only launched nine months ago in October 2009.
The PlayStation minis were meant to offer gamers a “quick-to-download, bite-sized experience perfect for on-the-go PlayStation Portable gaming.” And now there are more than 85 titles on the PlayStation Store, most of which are now playable on both the PS3 and the PSP.
Sony also released a list of the Top 10 most popular minis titles. Age of Zombies was tops, followed by Monopoly and Fieldrunners. The full list follows below:

- 1.) Age of Zombies
- 2.) Monopoly

Last but not least the publisher thanked everyone for their support: “Thank you to all of you who helped us reach one million minis downloaded and here’s to the next million downloads!”
