Celebrate Pac-Man’s 30th birthday with two-player browser game on Google

Written by: / / No Comments

Tomorrow is Pac-Man’s 30th birthday, and internet search giant (amongst other things) Google has decided to celebrate by giving everyone a free-to-play, browser-based version of the classic dot-eating game on the company’s home page.

Pac-Man on Google

Just visit Google.com (as if you haven’t today already), and for the next 48 hours, you’ll be able to play the game by pressing the ‘Insert Coin’ button appearing next-to the ‘Google Search’ button.

But wait, there’s more!

To play by yourself, you can simply use the arrow keys on your keyboard to navigate your way around the maze to collect the dots, eat powerpills and chase (and evade) ghosts, but if you hit the ‘Insert Coin’ button a second time, Ms. Pac-Man will join Pac-Man for some two-player adventures.

A second player will be able to control Ms. Pac-Man with the W, A, S and D keys on your keyboard.

How awesome is that?!
