On the back of the news that Call of Duty developer Infinity Ward has recently become eight employees lighter, Respawn Entertainment has recently become a few employees heavier, with the addition of three former Infinity Ward developers to the roster of ‘Respawners.’

Lead software engineer at Infinity Ward Francesco Gigliotti was amongst the original group of developers to join Respawn last week, taking the total tally of employees at the company up to ten (including studio heads Vince Zampella and Jason West).

More recently, senior software engineer Chris Lambert and designer Brent McLeod at IW landed at Respawn (who were only confirmed to have left Infinity Ward last week), which means the small company is rapidly growing, now at a total of twelve employees, and with the highly likely possibility of at least a dozen more to follow in the coming weeks.
