Sony have detailed new, upcoming updates to their online 3D social space, PlayStation Home, including an update today called the Minna de Spelunker lounge, which will be followed by Resident Evil 5 and Street Fighter IV themed areas in the next few weeks.
Today’s update adds a lounge for Irem’s PS3 downloadable title, Minna de Spelunker, where players will have access to a statue where they can start a multiplayer session of the game.
The next update is schedule for the 26th, will add an updated Resident Evil 5 Photo Studio, which includes access to a mini game that can be played simultaneously by multiple players, with Home Rewards to play for.
Included in the Photo Studio will be a shop, called Adam’s Shop, where you can buy Resident Evil 5 themed costumes in the form of Chris and Sheva outfits, marking the first time that Home has offered in-lounge shops.
You’ll also be able to buy new Street Fighter IV themed outfits, with E. Honda, Zangief, Dhalsim and Blanka costumes, also available on the 26th.
Additionally, if you’re a member of Home you can take part in a survey where you can get some free Resistance and Gomibako themed Home Rewards.
