Ubisoft has finally taken the wraps off the much anticipated sequel to Beyond Good & Evil. Yesterday at Ubiday’s 2008 CEO Yves Guillemot introduced the untitled game title simply as Michael Ancel’s latest project.

The announcement was followed by the world premier trailer of the new Beyond Good & Evil game. The teaser trailer features Pey’j and a woman, presumably Jade, whose face is obscured by an umbrella sitting on a broken down car in a desert. It gives no indication as to what platforms the game will be released on and when, no official title for the game was even given.

Beyond Good & Evil was released in 2003 and turned out to be one of our most popular action adventure games of all time. It earned itself a 5 star rating from us and the words to many songs including ‘olli olli,’ and ‘Propaganda’ still reverberate through our heads.
