Win The Darkness II and a limited edition comic book! - (Closed)
Congratulations to xdvd for winning this awesome prize!
The Darkness II has finally been let loose on the world and is now available on Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and PC and El33tonline and Megarom are giving you a chance to experience the game’s ultra violent gameplay, twisted world and incredibly intriguing story with a new competition!
In The Darkness II you play as Jackie Estacado, the head of a powerful mafia family and also the current infested host of ‘The Darkness,’ an ancient and supreme being that bestows upon Jackie unbelievable powers of destruction, but wreaks ultimate havoc on his mind, too.
A vicious, bloodthirsty entity and a hitman with an unstable mind? Not a good combination.
Using the terrible forces of two demon arms (manifestations of The Darkness itself) and a devastating array of dual-wielded weaponry, Jackie is once again forced to rely on The Darkness to tear, shred, eviscerate and otherwise ruin dozens of enemies in a truly spellbinding story of self-rescue.
El33tonline and Megarom are giving away a PlayStation 3 copy of The Darkness II, along with a copy of a very limited edition Darkness comic book, and to highlight the extreme violence of the game (and to give you a chance to win the prize), we’re going to ask you to tell us:
“What is your most favourite, shocking execution move seen in The Darkness II… and why?
The execution moves in The Darkness II are quite revolting, but in a fun kind of way, and they’re used to give players extra armour, health and ammo at the expense of your enemies. Which are your favourite? You can find examples in El33tonline’s previous coverage of The Darkness II, our preview, as well as videos here and over here.
Leave your answer below for a chance to win The Darkness II on PS3, as well as that limited edition comic!
We’re going to run this Darkness II competition until the very end of February 26th, so get your answers in and look forward to El33tonline’s review of the game soon! Thanks to Megarom for providing this excellent prize!
(Note: This competition is open to residents of South Africa only.)
Comments
The Wishbone, because everytime I use it I can make a wish!
I have to say the Wishbone. Just that view of your Darkness Tentacles Ripping a man in half is just pure awesomeness. I also like the Anaconda move, as it reminds me of the Alien movies......ok, now I can't decide....I love the one with the most GORE......
Wishbone as well can't help but feel the pain when seeing something like that going on can you say OUCH!!!
Assecution, hands down. just if you haven't seen it go and youtube it. Get a demon snake like creature go up your rectrum and rip junk out must be the most painful way to die. Hands down I win :D
Okay the comments mentioned are not to bad as far as execution goes but I suggest you guys take a look at the "Assecution" o.O
Oh and the Assecution has to be the most humiliating way to go O.o
Wishbone be the awesome, cant wait to drop that one over and over
Wishbone is awesome but the Assecution omg that is like a wtf moment and has be be the most shocking move by far.
In terms of violence, gore and just plain mind numbing sickness i would say the assecution.
That the highest personal violation of privacy any person can experience.
Assecution without a doubt. Japanese tentacle porn just got a whole lot more serious!
I have to say the Wishbone, for the same reason that Chaos mentioned. The more I do it, the greater the chance I have of my wish coming true :P
Mine is probably the assecution as well. I mean, is there anything more awkwardly awesome than that? :D
The Assecution is disturbing.. I think i'd feel awkward enjoying that too much.
The Daisy Pop is a Common order but I'd go with the wishbone for true gruesome body splitting. :D
The Daisy Pop. SO wasn't expecting it when it happened! Gah Gross LOLOL
Also love Anaconda. Nothing like an... uhm... thing... coming in through the chest and out through the mouth!
I would have to go with the wishbone. Ripping someone down the middle is just pure evil.
The wishbone cos its pure awesomeness
I know it's been said a lot but the wishbone is an awesome finishing move. Reason being is because it looks sick and demented and compliments the games gruesome nature.
you guys seem to be missing out the best parts, what about being able to rip a door off a car and then hurl it at 3 guys decapitating them all at once or picking up a pole and impaling a guy through the head and pinning him to a wall i love that but if i had to choose one i would say the one where you rip the guys spine out through his stomach.
the wishbone execution never looked so cool
man i would have to say that the "ASSECUTION" is so sick,it blasted my ass hole...lol
throat rip now thats an excution
no thanks guys, assecution cant be my fav, lol talk about insult to injury! its not for me
a nice inside out type throat plunge will shut up the moast annoying of people, lol if only i could use this in real life!
Wishbone, its sick
For me, it's between the Throat Plunge and the Assecution. They are both brutal and having a tentacle force its way into any orifice that violently can only mean excruciating pain or instant death. But if I had the power of The Darkness. Lord knows that those 2 executions would be my favourites.
The Wishbone- Its gory and since its me holding both sides of the legs I get the wish no matter what
the portal i mean if it was a female he could suck me any day ;)
I think I will go for butchered. Who needs a meat cleaver with that baby.
Agh every knows its gotta be wishbone.. Its psycho
Assecution - Looks like your head gets ripped through your ass and who doesn't want to have his pulled through his own ass :P
The Wishbone - Ripping someone in half is the ultimate death trap hahahaaaa(evil laughter)
I would have to say The Wishbone...... it just looks so freaking cool when you do it
Assecution - One of the most gruesome things I've seen in a game!
I would say Stomach Whip, Clean Break, and Butchered all together makes me smile because the enemies don't know what hit them and the Butchered is so shocking because of the sheer amount of blood ;)
Ok saw more moves. Wishbone, as others say is definitely the one that makes me cringe! But I also really enjoy butcher and cannot help but laugh when you either impale someone or slice their heads off!! LOVE!
The Wishbone, sheesh that looks intensely painful D:
I can't say that it's my favourite cause I like it...
The Wishbone consistently sends a cold shiver down my spine *shiver*
Wishbone will be the one to beat...
lol i love the daisy pop! its so visual! great graphics blood all over the place. seeing the head ripped off and popping aside, epic lol
Assecution (WTF) is just demented. Wish bone however has a sense of class.
Assecution.
1. For the excellent word play 2. I'm out to humiliate my enemies more than anything else
Also, seeing as I don't have a PS3 I'm in this just for the comic. So if I win, whoever ask's first can get the game.
Ha! What?! kASSplush!
Good sirs/ladies of the El33t court, I have preferance to the Assecution as my "execution" of choice -
Now, if being danggled upside down by a pair of demonic arms isnt unsettling enough - um, I know! let's rip the dude's spine and skull out through his bum bum!
So yip, yip - I "noped" when I saw The Assecution ...and it takes a special kind of killing method to make me nope...
Gilly For the Win - Xbox 360...*please, sir/lady*! \:D/
Wishbone. It's the best one :D
PS3 please
Assecution wins the most cringe-worthy execution award from me. Xbox 360.
I like the Throat Plunge. nothing like a face full of monster!
Definitely the Assecution! No one wants to die that way!
