Win Duke Nukem Forever and a fitting collection of goodies! - (Closed)
This Duke Nukem Forever competition is now closed!
Congratulations to Graham S. (Failtron) for winning the Duke Nukem Forever hamper!
Big thanks to everybody for entering and helping us remember the greatness of Duke, and mega thanks to Megarom for providing the game and hamper!
After fifteen years of production, development, engine changes, legal wranglings and developer switches (and more development), the legendary Duke Nukem Forever finally found its way out into the world on Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and PC!
Duke Nukem Forever is packed with nostalgic content, from Duke’s one-liners and a huge range of interactive objects, to the game’s devastating arsenal of weaponry and punishing enemies.
Who could forget the first time you played pool, operated a vending machine or flushed a toilet in Duke Nukem 3D? Who would deny the fun of shrinking a Pig Cop down to size with the Shrink Ray, stopping an Octabrain in its tracks with a Freeze Ray, or destroying an Assault Commander with a well-placed Pipebomb in Duke’s original first-person outing?
No-one, that’s who.
Duke Nukem Forever includes all of these signature moments (and a whole lot more!), and El33tonline and Megarom are giving you an opportunity to relive them with a chance to win a PlayStation 3 version of the game, as well as an… interesting assortment of Duke Nukem related goodies!
Here’s a photo of the goods from our friends at Megarom (pictured: Duke Nukem glasses, condom, key ring and, of course, bubblegum):
To stand a chance of winning Duke Nukem Forever on PS3, as well as this fitting collection of Duke memorabilia, all you need to do is tell us:
Which classic Duke Nukem weapon are you most keen to use, and which interactive object in the world do you most want to try out?
Leave your answer in the comments below and we’ll randomly choose the winners (one comment per person please).
This Duke Nukem Forever sweepstakes competition will run from June 21st through to the end of July 3rd – thanks go to Megarom for sponsoring this exciting prize!
Until we draw the winner, you can look over El33tonline’s extensive previous coverage of Duke Nukem Forever to find out what else is included in the game, while watching some explosive in-game footage and flipping through batches of screenshots.
(Please note that this competition is only open to South African residents over the age of 18.)
