Just one more level. How many times have you pushed beyond the physical pain of bloodshot eyes, numb thumbs and aching forearms as you have indulged your inner gaming demon to play just one more level. It is at times like these my brothers and sisters that you reach for the two liter bottle of cream soda and chips for the sustenance to see you through. Now I want to tell you about an accessory for your PlayStation 3 or Xbox 360 controllers, an accessory that can help you through these tough times and help to extend your playing time. |
| Rating | Score | |
|---|---|---|
| Aesthetics | 3/5 | Rounded corners for comfort but still bulky |
| Quality | 4/5 | Solid material, yet light and durable |
| Functionality | 3/5 | Reduces control over analogue sticks |
| Value | 2/5 | Price is a bit higher than it should be |

I don't think I'll be getting this for my controller as it just does look right to me. my setup at home allows is perfect. this just makes the controller look more uncomfortable to hold. It might be a good thing for other gamers but I'll stick to the normal way of playing. Great review.
Nice review Wayne but the name for that accesory doesn't fit they should call it Xtendplastic or Xtendglove.
Being a PS3 fanboy I find it hard to admit that the PS3 can be a bit uncomfortable. But it is! Especially for my bear paws. Would like to give this thing a go. Do any local chain stores supply these things?
Nice review Wayne, but seriously, if your arms are too tired to hold a controller, you should be taking a break from gaming.
i could never use this, its just too awkward looking and im really happy with the xbox controller its the PS controller that hurts my writs that controller is all types of wrong i think they should make something for that instead
It looks a bit awkward to hold and especially fr a hack and slash game where tapping buttons and the speed in which you do so may decide your fate. I am unsure about it, Real gamers don't get blood shot eyes, sore thumbs or carpel tunnel A NO DOO RAH!
Pfff ... If today was Apil 1st, I wouldn't have been surprised ;)
But seriously, it may come in handy for people who play for long, and I mean LONG periods of time ... I mean you know you've taken it a bit overboard if you can barely hold your controller up :/
When I'm playing my arms already rest on my legs so there is no strain for me when I'm gaming. Also my Xbox controller is pretty comfortable in my hands.
As Graeme pointed out, if you become too tired to hold the controller or if you feel strain, (in a weird Yoda impersonation) *a break you must take*
True gamers know when its snack time! :D
What a strange accessory, I agree with most of the comments, if your hands or arms are getting tired, it's time to take a break, or do some wrist exercises to improve strength. This is a lazy person's gadget.
...
Thats honestly just ... brilliant :|
