This week’s Xbox LIVE ‘Deal of the Week’ has been revealed to be Bomberman LIVE, which is usually priced at 800 MS Points. Now, you can save a whopping 200 MS Points, as the price for Bomberman LIVE has been reduced to 600 MS Points.
If you’re in India, you can also save 100 MS Points if you buy the popular LIVE game, Uno, as the price has been reduced from 400 to 300 MS Points. What a saving!
These new price points are now active.
On December 15th, new additions to the Xbox 360’s line-up of Xbox Originals will arrive in the form of Sega Soccer Slam and a game called Raze’s Hell (…).
The Xbox Originals brand, where highly acclaimed original Xbox games go to live on in digital download infamy, has been quietly growing since its inception and now boasts 23 titles to which you are now able to gain access through Xbox LIVE on the Xbox 360. That number is set to go up with the aforementioned new games.
Sega Soccer Slam, originally released in 2002 is described thus: “Have you ever taken on a deranged kilt-wearing Scotsman in a wild, no-holds-barred soccer match? Each character in this anything-but-ordinary soccer game wields special powers and moves that if executed properly earn the big score. In Quest Mode, you can unlock secret stadiums and uncover hidden items to improve your already stellar performance.” Sounds pretty exciting. What about Raze’s Hell?:
All kinds of cool things happening on Xbox LIVE Marketplace this week, including the usual Rock band downloadable content (DLC), a demo and Xbox LIVE Arcade titles up for the playing.
XBLA enthusiasts will be pleased to note that Meteos Wars, the XBLA version of the cult classic Meteos puzzle game on the DS. Another XBLA title, Powerup Forever, is a multidirectional shooter where you get to blow up a large variety of enemies while you travel across the screen (think Geometry Wars with screen scrolling).
There’s also a Sonic: Unleashed demo available on Marketplace, which includes the first location from the new game, “reaching speeds that you’ve never seen before!” Apparently. Don’t forget to have a look at the (free) Holiday Winter Theme for your Xbox 360.
