Three artists from Interscope Records including Marilyn Manson will be available in a new track pack for Guitar Hero III tomorrow.

Flyleaf’s ‘Tina,’ ‘Carcinogen Crush’ from AFI and a remix of Marilyn Manson’s ‘Putting Holes in Happiness’ by Nick Zinner will be available on Xbox Live Marketplace and the PlayStation Store for 500 Microsoft Points or £3.99.

Speaking of Guitar Hero, more evidence has been added to the smoldering pile of rumours that Metallica will soon follow in Aerosmith’s footsteps.

Metallica leader Lars Ulrich recently told MTV Multiplayer that “There’s an Aerosmith game out there that’s super successful, and if somebody’s gonna follow that up… We’re talking, and it’s exciting, and the people at Guitar Hero and Activision are rapidly becoming our best new friends in the world. You can put the rest of it together yourself.”

Silicon Knights’ Too Human, a game combining action and RPG elements, follows the story of Baldur, a cybernetic Norse god, trying to protect humanity from ‘the machines.’ After 10 years of brewing in the bowls of Silicon Knights, and a release date of August 29th (in the UK), Too Human is sure to feature heavily in Microsoft’s E3 proceedings.

You can grab the demo and trailer on Xbox Live later today, though a Gold membership is required.

As Halo fans will no doubt be aware, today is Bungie Day or 7/7 and marks the release of a new Halo 3 multiplayer map called Cold Storage, inspired by the original map Chill Out from Halo: Combat Evolved.

Gamers will also be able to download seven exclusive gamer pics and a Bungie Xbox 360 dashboard theme available for free on Xbox Live Marketplace. These items will only be available for today so make sure you don’t miss out. Today also sees the Halo 3 Legendary Map Pack dropping to 600 Microsoft Points.

The number 7 has always played a significant role in Bungie games and this significance eventually gave rise to Bungie treating fans to new content or a free download on 7/7. To see how many references there are to the number 7 in the Halo universe head over to the Halo wiki.

A demo for LEGO Indiana Jones: The Original Adventures has arrived on Xbox Live Marketplace.

If you have read our review of LEGO Indiana Jones you will know that the game follows the adventures of Indy in The Raiders of the Lost Ark, The Temple of Doom and The Last Crusade. It includes well thought out puzzles, will have you in stitches and features great two player co-operative play.

Well worth downloading the demo to give it a go in my opinion.

Rock Band will be available in Europe this week. The game will launch exclusively on the Xbox 360 on the 23rd of May followed by additional platforms later in the year.

The game will feature nine new tracks in addition to the 58 tracks from the North American release. Earlier in the year it was confirmed that all songs which are currently available for purchase and download in the US will be made available in Europe.

Xbox Live’s Major Nelson has popped a reminder on his website that the content previously released in North America is now available for European Rock Band players. Head over to the Major’s website for a full list of the content available.

This is great news for gamers who have been eagerly waiting to grab themselves a copy of Rock Band. But even better news for us European gamers who already own Rock Band but have not been able to download additional tracks. Sadly only those gamers with the Xbox 360 version will be able to enjoy jamming to new tracks, looks like the PS3 gamers will have to wait even longer.

Ninja Gaiden II is set to launch across Europe on the 6th of June.

Today Microsoft revealed that gamers have the chance to get an exclusive Fiend Hayabusa for Ryu costume. If you order the game from specific retailers in the UK, Netherlands, Italy, France and Nordic countries, you may be one of a limited number of gamers (39 000 to be exact) to get the outfit on launch day. Lock on to Xbox.com in the next couple of weeks for details on participating retailers.

Ninja Gaiden fans will also be able to download three unique Ryu Hayabusa costume packs on Xbox Live Marketplace. They will be available from July and will be priced at 200 Microsoft Points each.

Ninja Gaiden II Fiend HayabusaHere is a first look at the first of the three costume pack designs. It is Fiend Hayabusa and is based on the falcon.

According to the press release it is “Inspired by the Hayabusa family’s namesake, the falcon, this demonic costume mirrors the intensity of Ryu’s vengeance and fury as he fights to regain the honor of his clan. It’s almost as if he’s been transformed into a Fiend by the evil powers of the underworld with this costume – but retains all the honor of the Hayabusa Ninja Clan.”

Stay tuned for details on the other two designs. Until then you can check out our earlier coverage of the game including screenshots.

A demo of the game is due to hit Xbox Live Marketplace this month so keep your eyes peeled
