Have you got some MS Points to spare on the ole’ Xbox LIVE Marketplace this week? Are you into crazy visuals and fantastic party times?

Now that we know which games and downloadable content performed the best over the PlayStation Network in terms of sales last year, a list of top-selling Xbox LIVE Arcade games for 2011 has recently been published, revealing Ubisoft’s From Dust and Microsoft’s Full House Poker as the leaders by revenue and unit sales, respectively.
New to Xbox LIVE Marketplace today is a colourful and quirky word game called Quarrel, a title in which you’re challenged to fight for dominance over a variety of island territories by chaining together eight letter anagrams and scoring more points than your friends and opponents.

A megaton of new content has arrived on Xbox LIVE today with demos for immensely anticipated games, as well as brand new content for extremely popular titles.
Two new Xbox LIVE Arcade games are now available over Xbox LIVE Marketplace, and as usual for a new selection of XBLA titles, they couldn’t be more different than one another, with one taking the form of a creepy horror game, and the other materialising as a frantic helicopter action game.
If you can draw similarities between AMY and Choplifter HD, then you’re very clever indeed.

The promised Gears of War 3 ‘Versus Booster Map Pack’ has just become available on Xbox LIVE Marketplace, and once downloaded, will add five multiplayer maps to your game.
And oh yes: This map pack is completely free, everybody.
Wha? What is this? Xotic?
We don’t know if you’ve heard of this arcadey score-based first-person shooter before, but it’s the first time we’ve ever caught wind of it, and if the official description is anything to go by “there’s never been a game like this before.”

SkyDrift is a little game that tries really hard. It has action! It has heavy machinery that flies at break neck speeds shooting each other to pieces! It even has power-ups! We should know by now, however, that a list of features does not a game make…
At its core, SkyDrift is an action arcade racer. You have a selection of very modern looking propeller based planes to choose from and then race against AI or up to seven other players online. Each aircraft has different handling attributes, are faster, stronger or more manoeuvrable than the others. Each plane also has a few skins to make them stand out from the crowd.
