Capcom wants to remind Street Fighter fans that the Super Street Fighter II Turbo HD Remix Beta is now available on Xbox Live Arcade.

Remember that you will only be able to download the Beta if you purchased Wolf of the Battlefield: Commando 3 on XBLA (which is available for 800 Microsoft Points).

Players will be able to select either Ryu or Ken and battle online in the Beta. Online modes for the Beta include Player or Quarter Match, Ranked Match and Tournament Mode, but you will also be able to participate in offline and local two player matches.

The Super Street Fighter Turbo HD Remix Beta will run for roughly eight weeks and will come to an end around the 20th of August.

According to Capcom’s blog, “This Beta test will help Capcom stress-test the network code underlying the incredible online features that power the multiplayer modes of the game.”

This week Frogger 2 and Wolf of the Battlefield: Commando 3 land on Xbox Live Arcade. Both titles will be available for 800 Microsoft Points each tomorrow.

Frogger 2 sees players navigating through fifteen levels across five environments filled with new enemies, obstacles and boss battles. Up to four players can compete in two new online multiplayer modes, finish an enhanced version of the original Frogger level first in Race Mode or prevent players from taking the jewel in Jewel Duel.

Wolf of the Battlefield: Commando 3 is an arcade-style cooperative shooter that sees up to three players on a mission to take on evil General Ratiev. Read our previous coverage for more information about Commando 3.

Capcom’s Wolf of the Battlefield: Commando 3 will be available on Xbox Live Arcade this Wednesday for 800 Microsoft Points.

Wolf of the Battlefield: Commando 3 is an arcade-style cooperative shooter. Step into the shoes of a group of specialized soldiers (Codename Wolf, Coyote or Fox) who are on a mission to take on evil General Ratiev.

Fight solo or battle with up to three players on a single console or online as you face scores of soldiers, rescue P.O.W.’s and eliminate or control armoured vehicles with various weapons and power-ups. The game also features four difficulty levels and online leaderboards.

Xbox Live Gold subscribers who purchase the game stand a chance to participate in the Super Street Fighter II Turbo HD Remix beta test, the final version of which will be available on XBLA and the PlayStation Network later this year.

Wolf of the Battlefield: Commando 3 is already available for download on the PlayStation Network for $9.99.

Microsoft has detailed some of its upcoming Xbox Live Arcade titles. The list includes Rocky and Bullwinkle, Shotest Shogi, TiQal, Wits & Wagers and Wolf of the Battlefield: Commando 3.

Assault Heroes and Doom will be released on Xbox Live Arcade tomorrow for 400 Microsoft Points each.

Rocky and Bullwinkle (Zen Studios Ltd)

Party and trivia fun! Even if trivia isn’t your thing, the first trivia and party game to hit Xbox LIVE Arcade is one in which players can win by making educated guesses, playing the odds or just knowing the interests of other players, whether they are local or online. Break out the Big Button Pad controllers or play couch vs. couch on Xbox LIVE for a trivia party extravaganza.

Xbox LIVE Arcade’s Wolf of the Battlefield: Commando 3 revives one of the most popular arcade shooters with an all-new adventure.
