I want to like White Knight Chronicles II; to recommend it to you as a fellow RPG enthusiast. Don’t get me wrong – there are some wonderful aspects to WKCII. It features classic RPG elements like towns brimming with interesting Non-Player Characters to converse with; errands to run and bounties to collect. The visuals and music are inviting and serene. In fact, this is Level-5’s best-looking game yet.

Sony has announced release dates for both White Knight Chronicles II on PS3 and White Knight Chronicles: Origins on PSP.

Both titles will be releasing on the same day, that’s the 10th of June if you’re in the UK or Ireland, the 9th of June if you’re in Australia and New Zealand, or the 8th of June for the remaining PAL territories (including South Africa!).

Don’t you love it when you purchase a game and you discover all sorts of free goodies on the disc?

Well, this time round I’m going to spoil the surprise for you by revealing that White Knight Chronicles II on PlayStation 3 will come bundled with a fully remastered version of the original game; all on one Blu-ray disc.

What exactly “fully remastered” means is unclear at this stage, but apparently it was re-developed alongside its sequel, and therefore includes many of the improvements present in White Knight Chronicles II.

Sony Computer Entertainment Europe (SCEE) announced this past week that Level 5’s incredible White Knight Chronicles 2 for PlayStation 3 is indeed scheduled for release outside of Japan this year, while also revealing a few interesting morsels on another franchise adventure destined for the PSP titled White Knight Chronicles: Origins.
