Microsoft recently made a number of enhancements to Xbox.com to coincide with the imminent Xbox 360 dashboard update. The main changes to the website are two new sections - ‘Social’ and ‘Video’.
The Social tab replaces ‘My Xbox’ and it’s here that you’ll be able to access a wide range of options and stats, ranging from tracking your achievements to seeing your friends’ recent activity. One of the new features found under this section is the ability to set ‘Beacons’ for games you want to play with friends. This functionality will also be available on Xbox 360 via the upcoming dashboard update and looks set to streamline the way we go about organising multiplayer matches with our mates on Xbox Live.
During Sony’s E3 2010 press conference which wrapped up earlier today, the company officially announced and detailed a PlayStation Network subscription service called PlayStation Plus.
Sony has recently unleashed a new God of War III website to provide fans with exclusive content, a blog and a forum, as well as a place to catch up on the ‘lore’ of the God of War series for newcomers.

Ubisoft recently set up its official Prince of Persia: The Forgotten Sands website for fans of the series to compulsively click upon, featuring content that… we’ve already seen, such as the first released screenshot and the debut trailer for the game.
The promised update for the official No More Heroes: Heroes’ Paradise website has arrived, bringing with it a host of new content including character bios, as well as lots of blank spaces to provide opportunities to learn about the PS3 and Xbox 360 edition of the series in the future.
It’s all in Japanese at the moment, but as the clever gamers you are, you’ll be able to navigate your way through the pages with ease.
