This latest update for the US PlayStation Store is what one would term a ‘Mega Content Edition,’ hence the header.
It’s stuffed to the gills with great new downloadable content, including the full versions of Red Faction: Guerrilla and Scott Pilgrim VS the World, the demo for Mafia II, a PSP demo for Valkyria Chronicles 2 and a new adventure for Dragon Age: Origins.
Also included today are a bunch of interesting videos, new themes and wallpapers, new Qore video offers, PlayStation Plus content, and the usual assortment of Rock Band and Guitar Hero tracks.

Jeff Rubenstein over at the US PlayStation Blog recently had the opportunity to sit down with developers on Valkyria Chronicles 2, the sequel to the PS3 action RPG adventure game Valkyria Chronicles, only this time on the PSP, and managed ask them a few questions submitted by you, the fans.
Topics covered in the Q&A include questions regarding character progression, the inclusion of multiplayer, the possibility of future titles in the series, and more. Read all of that below:
SEGA has officially announced that the sequel to Valkyria Chronicles on the PS3, an excellent non-traditional strategy Japanese Role-Playing Game (JRPG), is heading to the PSP for Western audiences next year.
News of Valkyria Chronicles II’s existence on the PSP was revealed earlier this year by way of a story in the Japanese game magazine, Famitsu.
To mark the occasion, SEGA has released a quick announcement trailer with some slick looking animations to look forward to in the full game. Watch that below:
In the latest edition of Japanese games magazine, Famitsu, Valkyria Chronicles 2 has officially been revealed, but unlike its older sibling, it’s not a PS3 game but will instead release on the PSP.
The localised title, Valkyria Chronicles 2: The Gallia Royal Military Academy, is pretty lengthy, but also gives an indication of the setting and backstory to the game, as it’s apparently set in 1937, which is two years after the first, and trainees from the above mentioned military academy are sent in to smother a rebellious skirmish in the country of Gallia.
You can see a low quality scan from Famitsu over here… or you could just wait for more details.
