At its core Ultimate Marvel vs Capcom for the PS Vita is exactly that – the game you’ve played on your Xbox 360 or PlayStation 3 in the palm of your hands, with decent controls. It’s not more than that, but it certainly isn’t less than that. That is, unless you have a fight stick to play with on your console – the Vita’s controls are good but no match for a real arcade controller.

A long time ago, early in 2011, a fighting game was released that was the continuation of every comic book gamer’s dream come true. Marvel VS Capcom 3 featured 36 fighters from two of the most loved universes, with Marvel characters like Spider-man, Wolverine, The Hulk, Thor and Iron Man - what a line-up! - and Capcom characters like Dante, Ryu and Viewtiful Joe.
Even with such a great roster, however, there were a few whispers of diseent in the crowds. Some were not happy with the list of playable characters.

Confirming previous, viciously swirling rumours, Capcom has formally announced Ultimate Marvel VS Capcom 3 for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360, a new fighting game that will add twelve all-new Capcom and Marvel characters to the roster, as well as eight new stages, new modes and a “refined fighting system.”
Releasing this November for a “mid range price,” Ultimate Marvel VS Capcom 3 will include a whopping fifty characters thanks to the new additions, including much-requested personalities such as Capcom’s Strider and Firebrand, and Marvel’s Ghost Rider and Hawkeye.
