We had so much fun running that event, and there was such a great response from all of you, that we’ve decided to do it all over again, complete with prizes for the top participants! Naturally!

El33tonline’s second Xbox 360 “Ultimate Achievement Grinder Competition” is now open for registration, with a start date set for December 16th! Or, more accurately, midnight of December 15th!

To enter the competition, all you need to do is create a reader profile, and link your Xbox LIVE Gamertag to that profile - if you’ve already created a reader profile, you can simple update it with your Gamertag.

Over the past two weeks, El33tonline has been running a gruelling competition to weed out the weaklings and discover the mightiest Xbox 360 warriors South Africa has to offer, all while celebrating the launch of Xbox LIVE in the country.

Problem is, we couldn’t find any weaklings – all we got were warriors! So it was up to these gaming athletes to battle it out and determine who could rack up the most points on their Xbox LIVE Gamerscore in two weeks.

Now, two weeks later, the dust has settled and the victors have emerged, with one champion in particular taking top honours after having accumulated an incredible number of points!

Congratulations to Brent (aka RaucousTarsier) for winning El33tonline’s Ultimate Achievement Grinder competition, and walking away with four fantastic Xbox LIVE games, as well as delicious bragging rights!

High praise and recognition also goes to cassy (aka mistress cassy) and shiro nibori (aka kureigu X) for taking second and third place in the competition respectively, and winning their own XBLA games!

To celebrate the launch of Xbox LIVE in South Africa this week, El33tonline will be running the ‘Ultimate Achievement Grinder’ competition starting on November 15th. So starting on Monday next week, we hope you’ll join us as we try to find the South African Xbox 360 gamer who can, in two weeks, accumulate the most points on their Gamerscore, all in celebration of the launch of Xbox LIVE in South Africa tomorrow!

Not only that, but you will, for the first time, gain official support from Xbox 360 South Africa, as well as support for purchases made over Xbox LIVE, all while getting the chance to easily participate in a local community of gamers.
