UK sales tracking firm UKIE has revealed the top-selling games of 2011 in the UK, and unsurprisingly, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 is slap-bang at the top of the all formats sales listing, followed by FIFA 12 and Battlefield 3.
Familiar ‘faces’ in the fitness and dance genres are included in the top ten, as well as open-world offerings in the fantasy, comic book, sci-fi and contemporary categories.
Lists of top-selling games across individual platforms have also been released - find out what were the hottest games of 2011 in the UK below:
The Association for United Kingdom Interactive Entertainment (UKIE), in association with sales tracking firm Chart Track, has announced the top-selling videogames for the region over the course of 2010.
The lists comprise sales rankings for all platforms, as well as an overall ‘All Formats’ chart, and other than a few obvious chart heroes making appearances (Call of Duty: Black Ops), you might be surprised to find out that StarCraft II, for example, wasn’t the best-selling PC game in the UK in 2010.
Or maybe you wouldn’t be.
