Microsoft announced today that they would be releasing a new limited edition Xbox 360 bundle in South African stores on April 1st.

When you think of Trivial Pursuit, you will be forgiven if the first thing that pops into your mind is little coloured pies and wedges. I used to play this popular boardgame with my friends during my younger years, it was a fun way to pass the time and it was actually one of the few boardgames we had at that stage that tested the ol’ grey matter a bit.

Trivial Pursuit is a tried and tested formula - after all, it is still a well-liked boardgame, challenging new players and fans alike for well over 27 years now. So it makes sense for EA to introduce the game to a new audience, videogamers.

With gaming becoming more socially acceptable these days, thanks largely to the influence of the Wii and co-operative gaming, it would seem like a perfectly logical thing that some gamers might enjoy dabbling in a round or two of Trivial Pursuit.

EA has announced that the popular board game Trivial Pursuit is now available on the Xbox 360, PS2, PS3 and Wii.

Trivial Pursuit PS3 Boxshot Released under the EA Play Label to celebrate the board game’s 25th year, the Trivial Pursuit videogame builds upon the original game by adding new categories, questions and modes of play.

No need to bring out the pies and wedges, because this game features three ways to play: traditional board game play in Classic; race against the clock to earn multipliers for the highest score in single player; or round up a couple of friends for multiplayer fun in Facts & Friends where scoring is based on team responses and guessing the other team’s ability to answer their questions correctly.
