Fans of Trine 2’s beautiful art design and sumptuous visuals can look forward to the release of an upcoming expansion pack that introduces majestic new worlds to traverse. The game was recently made free to PlayStation Plus subscribers so there’s really no excuse for Plus members to miss out on this excellent co-op platformer.
Trine 2 is one of those games where you can’t help but marvel at the majestic environments that frame your character’s exploits. The side-scrolling nature of this title allows Frozenbyte’s artists to create some truly memorable levels that delight the senses with their vivid colour palette and inspired design.
Frozenbyte’s beautiful co-op puzzle platformer Trine 2 is now available from the European PlayStation Store after a three-month delay. In a generous move, publisher Atlus has decided to reward European gamers’ patience by offering a 30% discount on Trine 2 for the next two weeks. You can pick it up for just £6.49 / R75 during this period.

The latest US PlayStation Store update is one of the most comprehensive we’ve seen this year, with new content spread fairly evenly across all sections of the Store.
This week the main attractions are Trine 2 and Sonic CD - two highly anticipated downloadable titles selling for $14.99 and $4.99 respectively. Thankfully demos are available for both games so you can see for yourself if they’re worth the asking price. I’ve tried out the full version of Sonic CD and while the presentation is a bit lacklustre compared to Sonic 1 and 2, it still seems like a worthwhile purchase for Sonic fans looking for an innovative entry in the series.
