After Microsoft and Nintendo made some impressive announcements at their respective E3 2009 press conferences, all eyes were on Sony to deliver equally noteworthy revelations, with many rumours (and confirmed rumours) floating around in the form of a new project from Kojima Productions, the PSP Go and further showings of their announced and unannounced games.

(Update: Now includes footage accompanying the announcements at the conference, including Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker, the PSP Go and others.)
The gaming world has been set ablaze over the last few hours as the first (unofficially released) footage of Trico has been leaked. Although it’s apparently over a year old at this point, the footage has been confirmed to be from Fumito Ueda’s development team and current project, Trico.
Trico, a game from the developers of classics Ico and Shadow of the Colossus, looks to follow the look and feel of its predecessors, while introducing a whole new element to the experience in the form of a friendly, giant bird… cat… thing.
