Activision has announced that downloadable content is on the way for Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen fans.
According to the publisher, developer Luxoflux has been hard at work on the downloadable content pack which will be available later this summer for both the Xbox 360 and PS3 versions of the game.
The DLC promises to appeal to fans of “both the original Transformers animated series and the blockbuster films.” Hit the jump for the full list of features and stay tuned for more details which were promised to be revealed in the coming weeks.
Just like the Michael Bay produced blockbuster film of the same name, Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen delivers non-stop action and plenty of explosions. Add rumble to the mix and you are truly in for a treat.
The Decepticons are back, bigger and badder than before, and this time they are taking no prisoners as they seek to discover the location of the AllSpark fragment, raise Megatron who was previously banished by the Autobots to the depths of the ocean and ultimately destroy mankind.

Fight Night Round 4, a title that debuted on the UK Software Sales Chart last week, has managed to punch its way to the No. 1 spot on the listing this week, which marks the first time a boxing game has ever reached this position in the UK.
As a result, Prototype has had to step down to No. 2 from No. 1 last week, as The Sims 3 is also forced to take a knock down to No. 3 this week from No. 2. Wii Fit, still hanging tough, also only has to take a small walk, this week down to No. 4 from No. 3 last week.
Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen hit shelves across the US earlier this week and will arrive in the UK tomorrow. This third person action adventure game is based on the blockbuster film of the same name and features the film’s leads Shia LeBeouf and Megan Fox.

Third person action adventure game Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen releases across North America today for the Xbox 360, PS3, Wii, PS2, DS and PSP. The game will arrive on UK shelves on the 26th of June.
Based on the 2009 Dream Works and Paramount Pictures action film of the same name (directed by Michael Bay), the game features the film’s leads Shia LeBeouf and Megan Fox as well as Peter Cullen and Mark Ryan, the voices of Optimus Prime and Bumblebee.

Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen is the new Transformers game based on the new and upcoming Transformers movie, which “propels players straight into an adrenaline-pumping battle for supremacy across the globe where every second and every choice makes the difference between mankind’s salvation and annihilation.” Again with the drama!
Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen (the videogame) will allow players to choose a to play as either the AUTOBOTS or DECEPTICONS and select from a large variety of Transformers each with their own abilities and weapons, fighting across the globe in the singleplayer campaign and the multiplayer online mode. Hasbro’s General Manager of Digital Gaming and Media, Mark Blecher said of the game:
”Activision has developed a Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen video game that will give gamers and fans a truly compelling way to experience TRANSFORMERS. The Activision team’s passion for the property clearly shows in the character development, intense action and rich graphics that really deliver an immersive experience for the user.”
