Despite a 58% drop in sales compared to the week previous, 2K’s mobster-themed action game Mafia II has managed to remain at the top of Chart Track’s UK Software Sales listing for the third week in a row, fending off advances from Ubisoft’s HAWX 2, as well as a host of new releases.
2K Games’ mobster-themed action adventure game, Mafia II, has managed to remain at the top of Chart Track’s UK Software Sales listing for the second week in a row, even though overall sales of the game dropped by 23% compared to the week previous.
If you only watch one videogame trailer today… “When diplomacy fails, one weapon is all you need!”… and you need your quota of on-screen explosions filled for the next week… “Engage faster!”… then this launch trailer for HAWX 2 is all you need for… “Fight smarter!”… is all you need for… “Strike harder!”…

Ubisoft has released a few more interesting details and screenshots for its upcoming flight action game, H.A.W.X. 2.
Players will become elite aerial soldiers, commanding “cutting-edge technology and overwhelming firepower delivered by tomorrow’s finest combat aircraft,” on aerial warfare missions in HA.W.X 2. This will include experimental technology ranging from the vectored thrust capability of the F-35 to the Enhanced Reality System.
Ubisoft has taken the wraps off Tom Clancy’s H.A.W.X. 2, the sequel to the flight simulator which was released in March 2009.
The game is currently in development at Ubisoft’s Bucharest studio, the same studio who handled development duties for the first H.A.W.X. title, and is scheduled to be released this fall for the Xbox 360, PS3, Wii and PC.
