Tiger Woods PGA Tour 10 is everything golfing fans could have hoped for and more. As a casual gamer you will need to have a love for golf itself as whilst the games saves you from hiking around a real golf course searching for your ball in the rough, it is just as frustrating as the real deal. With the incorporation of the Wii MotionPlus you now get to take all your “real-world” golfing inadequacies into the game. This in itself is a blessing and a curse in that you can no longer mask your problems and have to face up to investing the time to rectify them. So choosing to look at it positively, from the blissful comfort of your home you can experiment with different stances, grips and clubs to work through your technical problems. I am going to have to spend a lot of time doing this.

Tiger Woods PGA Tour 10 (sales down 1%) has managed to one-up EA’s other sports title, Fight Night Round 4 (sales down 45%), to reach the No. 1 spot on the UK Software Sales Chart this week from No. 2 last week.

While Fight Night Round 4 has to make do with No. 2 from No. 1, Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen (sales down 2%) is a non-mover at No. 3. Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince (sales up 71%), however, at No. 4 this week from No. 10, and fuelled by the upcoming release of the movie by the same name, is looking dangerous.

The Major has announced that you’re now able to get your grubby mitts on a demo for Tiger Woods PGA Tour 10 on the Xbox LIVE Marketplace. What’s in the demo, you ask?

“The Tiger Woods PGA Tour 10 demo will let the user play on two holes on both the Bethpage-Black and Turnberry courses. This is intended to let them experience the new in-game features we are implementing.”

“They will also be allowed to take part in a two hole practice round at these two courses. In Tournament Challenge they will be allowed to participate in a single challenge from this feature in order to get a preview of the mode.

“There will also be a number of feature preview screens that allow the player to read about the rest of the upcoming features in Tiger Woods PGA Tour 10.”
