Up to now they have been able to make a pretty penny, both for themselves and for EA. In the Nightlife expansion they were also able to gain celebrity status while out on the town, but it’s not been until Showtime that they truly became famous. EA has released a launch trailer for The Sims 3: Showtime, an expansion pack for The Sims 3 that allows you to live out your dreams of being a stage performer.
Whether you want to be a singer, dancer, magician or DJ, The Sims 3: Showtime will give you the chance to watch your Sims rise to fame in the new world of Starlight Shores. You’ll be able to customise stages with props, lights, backgrounds and special effects, and share your success by connecting with friends using the new SimPort feature.
Following the announcement of a new expansion pack titled The Sims 3: Showtime last year, EA has revealed a Collector’s Edition version of the content which the publisher calls “Katy Perry-themed.”
