Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 is simply not amused by the attempts of the other Xbox 360 games in their attempts to dethrone it as the most played title on Xbox LIVE for the past week, as it ably retains its title for the umpteenth time in a row ahead of Halo 3, Call of Duty: World at War, Fifa 10 and Call of Duty 4.

Xbox LIVE Logo SmallerAs far as the best selling Xbox LIVE Arcade games are concerned, Battlefield 1943 rises up the ranks to the No. 1 spot thanks to a previous Deal of the Week, as Trials HD and newcomer The Misadventures of P.B. Winterbottom following in second and third.

The best selling Xbox LIVE Indie games list returns to normal, however, as The Impossible Game, I MAED A GAM3 W1TH Z0MB1ES!!!1 and Avatar Drop make up the top three, while last week’s shining star, Yet Another Zombie Defense, is in fourth.

Winterbottom will be arriving on Xbox LIVE Arcade on February 17th, courtesy 2K Games’ Play label and indie developers The Odd Gentlemen, and after watching the launch trailer for the game below, you may just think that that date can’t come soon enough.
