Thanks to the release of the Stimulus Package downloadable content (DLC) for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2, the game has managed to easily stay ahead of the pack for another week and remain the most played Xbox 360 game on Xbox LIVE for the past week.
It is doubtful, however, whether or not the new DLC for Modern Warfare 2 would have made a difference to the popularity rankings this week considering that Halo 3, a game that is around two and a half years old, is this week in second place ahead of heavyweight contender Battlefield: Bad Company 2, despite the release of new DLC for that game, too.
Is the excitement surrounding this year’s Halo: Reach spiking Halo 3 players back into action? Will Bad Company 2 ever reach the No. 1 spot on the activity chart? We’ll have to wait and see.
