At the top of the list was the Wii U, Nintendo’s next home console and the successor to the Wii. Mario has taken us into 3D landscapes in prior adventures and now on the 3DS we get to experience the joys of an immersive 3D experience without glasses.

Of course the classic Mario experience will be there, along with new level designs and challenges. Mario can do a rolling somersault attack or run fast with a dash move. Playing as Tanooki Mario, using his tail he can hover, perform floating jumps or attacks.

Wipe the sleep from your eyes, do that double-take, pinch yourself and forcefully eject whatever is in your mouth right now, because it was recently announced that South African gamers, too, will be able to get their hands on the classic Mario game collection, which includes Super Mario Bros., Super Mario Bros. 2, Super Mario Bros. 3 and Super Mario Bros.: The Lost Levels, all on one disk.
