If you haven’t yet tried Double Fine’s downloadable title Stacking, then now’s the perfect time to find out a little more about it.

Did you enjoy Stacking, the latest downloadable game from the excellent Double Fine Studios?
With such a unique premise and its open-world approach to puzzle solving, Stacking is a gem of a game that you should definitely try out if you’re looking for oodles of style, charm, humour and clever personality and environment puzzles to solve!
But lo, what’s this? Downloadable content for Stacking? Yes, that’s very correct! The first new adventure for Stacking has been released on Xbox LIVE Marketplace for 400 MS Points, titled (what else) ‘The Lost Hobo King.’

Xbox frontman Major Nelson has once again released the latest Xbox LIVE Activity ranking, this time for the week beginning February 7th, and once again Activision and Treyarch’s Call of Duty: Black Ops is king of the chart, remaining the No. 1 most played game on Xbox LIVE.
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 follows in behind, which in turn is followed by Halo: Reach, FIFA 11 and NBA 2K11. Best-selling Xbox LIVE Arcade games for this past week include Serious Sam HD: The Second Encounter, the recently released Stacking (yay!) and Geometry Wars: Retro Evolved 2.
Best-selling Xbox LIVE Indie games (or ‘games’) include Voice Changer 360, Bird Assassin and Toy Stunt Bike.

Scheduled to appear in a just a few hours time on the European PlayStation Store are a couple interesting new downloadable items, including a very interesting and fast-paced action platform game called Explodemon.

According to a report on Gamespot, we don’t have too much longer to wait for Double Fine’s next downloadable title, Stacking, as the Russian nesting doll-featuring game has received early February release dates for both Xbox LIVE Arcade and the PlayStation Network!
You know about the concept of the Russian nesting doll, or matryoshka doll, right? The Wikipedia explanation can help you out:
“A Russian nesting doll… is a set of dolls of decreasing sizes placed one inside the other. The word matryoshka… [literally means] ‘dear (or little) mother.’”
Up until now, has a videogame ever used the concept of a Russian nesting doll?
I don’t know, but with the announcement of Double Fine Production’s downloadable title, ‘Stacking,’ for Xbox LIVE Arcade and the PlayStation Store, those little ornaments are finally going to be represented in a virtual world!
