Twisted Pixel recently announced that the team has crafted an epic soundtrack for their most recent Xbox LIVE Arcade game, Comic Jumper, while letting everyone know that it can be found on their website right now.
But the best news about the announcement is that this Comic Jumper soundtrack is absolutely free!
Here’s a bit of additional cool news from Twisted Pixel’s marketing director, Jay Stuckwisch:
EA has announced that Linkin Park will be headlining the in-game soundtrack for Medal of Honor.
The lead song, entitled ‘The Catalyst,’ to their new album (called A Thousand Suns and releasing on the 14th of September) will be featured in an exclusive trailer directed by the band’s Joe Hahn. The trailer will mix live footage and modern military action from the game and will be available on the 1st of August at www.medalofhonor.com/linkinpark a full day before the song will hit radio and iTunes.
Hit the jump to check out a preview of the song in the new Linkin Park announcement trailer.
Just can’t get enough of Borderlands? Feel kind of sad when you have to step away from the game to go about your normal lives? Then rest easy knowing you can get the Borderlands soundtrack to play through your iPod while out playing paintball. Now the excitement does not have to end when you switch off your console. I wonder if it comes with Bloodwing or if that is an optional extra?
EA recently announced that their next Need For Speed title, Nitro, has gone gold and will be releasing on the Wii and DS early next month in North America and Europe, and to mark the occasion, the official list of songs that comprise the game’s soundtrack has been released.
Need For Speed: Nitro looks like a blast to play, and seems to take the best parts of previous entries to the series, such as the extreme speed and arcade fun, and wrap them up in a package that is even more arcadey, colourful and stylised.
As for the soundtrack, Worldwide Executive of Music and Music Marketing at EA, Steve Schnur said:
Capcom has announced that the soundtrack for Bionic Commando will be available “real soon.”
The soundtrack, which features Bionic Commando themes from Jamie Christopherson, the Soundelux team and Bionic Commando Rearmed composer Simon Viklund, will be available digitally or on a disc from Sumthingdigital or on iTunes.
Sumthing Else Music Works, in collaboration with Capcom, have announced that the Resident Evil 5 Original Soundtrack is now available at retailers and as a digital download.
The soundtrack features the original music score from Resident Evil 5, which was laboured over by the game’s lead composer, Kota Suzuki. Suzuki comments on the development of the soundtrack, and his approach to the music, saying:
