The reason it might be prudent to start getting excited about Sonic Colours is… the gameplay that’s been showcased in the second gameplay trailer for the game, this time featuring multiplayer action!

On this day, August 6th 2010, SEGA has announced that the company’s next Sonic action game on Wii and DS will become available this November, answering at least one of the questions franchise fans may have had about the title.
To answer a few more questions about the game, SEGA has released the first excellent trailer to feature gameplay, in order to give us all a look at what we’ll be getting up to during the adventure.
SEGA have let out details regarding a Wii and DS game called Sonic Colours, which promises “Non-stop high-speed action” and a “Perfect blend of 3D [and] classic 2D perspectives on Wii, and solid 2D dual-screen gameplay on Nintendo DS!”
In Sonic Colours, Dr. Eggman (described as “diabolical”) is back with a new plan to take over the world, after building an interstellar amusement park in space (described as “amazing”) filled with rides and attractions (described as “incredible”).
